Personality: Intelligent, very friendly, a little goofy sometimes, loves people, confident. 

Strengths: 

• Fully potty trained, will go to the door give a low bark if he needs to go potty.

• Does not chew or bit furniture

• crate trained for naps and at night

• Knows some commands: sit, down, up, place, stay

• Walks well for the most part

• does not bother family when eating at the dinner table

• does great with bathime (used to be in a loud environment, lets you wash and blowdry without issues. He likes treats during bathtime but not necessary).

• can settle after initial excitement of seeing people at the house or going out somewhere, usually needs about 5 -10 minutes.

• lets you brush him (we do this once a day, normally at night time)

• will let you groom his paw hairs while he does a lick mat

• will allow you to clean his face/ears, touch paws etc.

• VERY food motivated which comes handy in training

• travels well in the car and loves to look outside an open window

Needs improvement:

• Mainly impulse control. He does very well for the most part but since he's still a puppy, he will need to continue training:

  • • Leash pulling (may sometimes pull on leash when excited)

    • Needs to work on the command "off"; may countersurf but will obey when told "off".

    • Need to work on the command "drop it" and "leave it". He does does but needs more work

    • Playbites when excited

    • Needs to build more confidence with clipping nails, does better with grinder. 

    • Eating things outdoors he should not

Likes:

• Walks

• Being outdoors, running around

• Loves tug play with toys

• LOVES to sniff

• enjoys his naps

• Fruits (apple, strawberries, banana, etc.)

• Veggies (especially frozen broccoli, pumpkin puree, sweet potato, carrots

• LOVES bully sticks; enjoys having one while the family watches TV on the couch

• belly rubs

• loves to shred cardboard boxes, tubes, etc.,

• loves to dig in sand at the beach or snow

Diet:

• Eats 3 cups a day of puppy kibble (with a little bit of salmon oil, kefir or greek yogurt and a spoonful of pumpkin for fiber. Food is water down with filtered water or dog friendly bone broth.
